“December lean hogs finished down 10 cents at 73.27, 52 cents off the high and 87 cents up from the low,” The Hightower Report said. “December hogs probed to the downside this morning making a new daily low for the fourth consecutive day but closed near unchanged. The longshoreman strike set for midnight could disrupt the significant frozen pork shipments from the East Coast and Gulf ports and perhaps that was part of the weakness late last week and could give us headwind this week as well.”
