Crops are loving the rain. We received 3.5 inches of rain on Monday and are receiving a good rain at the moment (June 26). The next big battle will be receiving heat to help with the crop growth, which looks like we will get the end of the week. The hay ground is loving the rain we have received. It is also in need of heat. We don’t need the heat to burn it up though. The high winds have been an added stress to the corn, but it is looking very good at the moment. Overall, we are very blessed with the rain we have received compared to the drowning rains that others have received.
