Overall things were good considering the lack of rain. The biggest hit probably came from soybean yields. We probably lost 3 to 4 bushels per acre because they were so dry. Yields were above average, however. Corn on the flat ground saw anything from 215 to 240 bushels per acre. Soybean yields were tremendous, although hot weather in September took off the top end. Yields were in the 60s to 70s in my area. At the end of the day we can’t complain. The crop did really well considering the dry weather. Pastures are very dry. I think we had a pretty good year.
