Rain this week was 1.7 inches Thursday morning and another 0.5 inches early Monday. No storm damage or wind this week. I got some straw bales done Wednesday, and I had to rake windrows to dry them the previous two days. A part on the baler broke, so I wasn’t able to finish as it rained that night. Beans are showing signs of suffering in low or poorly drained areas. I have some spots that are drowning out now. Corn has all tasseled now. The county fair was held this past week in Humboldt. I checked out the livestock and watched the swine show on Saturday.
