Bread Basket

Pastor Hyunwoong Hwang fills containers along with Judy Paulson and Ardyce Eisentraut for the First United Methodist Churches Bread Basket Ministry in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Bread Basket serves the Waupaca-area community by providing meals for those in need. First Church’s kitchen supports the ministry. Serving once each week, Bread Basket has provided as many as 175 hot, freshly prepared meals to local residents. Now operating out of the United Methodist Church, the ministry adapted during the pandemic so that meals are packaged for drive-through pickup, with some also delivered by local volunteers.
