After a year in rehab, Ted Eagan recovered enough to be sent home to Walhalla and the farm. Ted and his friend put their “engineering minds” together and designed hydraulic lifts for the combine and the tractor, as well as hand controls for the farm equipment - and he was able to farm until he was 80.
