URBANA, Ill. — Many moving pieces go into owning land. To alleviate doubts about land ownership, University of Illinois Extension is bringing back the Farmland Owners Conference, according to a news release. The one-day event will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 25 at Illinois Valley Community College in Oglesby.

Tighter profit margins and higher interest rates have caused some of the slowdown in farmland values, although demand for farmland generally remains strong.
