The last few days of June and first few days of July brought unusually high temps and little rain. We did get a short inch of rain over the 4th of July weekend. Corn has been showing stress almost every day. Beans have been sprayed a second time. Some winter wheat has been cut — more to go soon. Second cutting of hay is done with lower than hoped for bale counts.
