Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend. Busy around here posting corn and beans. A few guys are still dealing with down wheat, but I suspect most should wrap up harvest soon. We could use some rain now that everything is up out of the ground. The heat we have been having is great for this crop, but it’s sucking moisture out of the ground fast. Overall crop conditions are all over the board. The earlier-planted stuff looks decent, but from there it’s ugly. Thin stands of corn and beans make up the majority of the acres here. We are just hoping for the right weather to make this poor crop into something.
