A group of Jake TeSelle and Colten Sales’ friends and family harvest the duo’s first regular crop of hops in late August this year.
Jake TeSelle, right, recently graduated from Montana State University with a degree in mechanical engineering, and childhood friend Colt Sales, worked with Blackstone LaunchPad to apply for a grant through the Montana Department of Agriculture, which helped fund processing and infrastructure for their hops farm, Crooked Yard Hops, in Bozeman, Mont.
