We have an abundance of pesky raccoons on our 24-acre farm in Richland County. One year after vacation we neglected to close the windows on the minivan only to discover that a whole clan of genus Procyon lotor had partied all night leaving a mess of mauled watermelon, bananas, oranges, candy bars, chips, salsa, barbecued ribs and well used baby diapers smeared over the entire interior of the vehicle from floorboards to sunroof. We cleaned for days but the van was never the same.
