LODI, Wis. – Cody Quam returned to his family’s farm 12 years ago, but he never truly left. Back in the fold in a full-time capacity for more than a decade now, he recently found himself in the national Angus spotlight. He was named the American Angus Association’s Young Breeder of the Year at the 2024 Angus Convention in Fort Worth, Texas. But he will quickly point out that it’s certainly not a one-man operation on the farm near Lodi.
