Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn and Garth Brooks – along with rodeos, race cars and fireworks – have all filled seats at the South Dakota State Fair grandstands, and this year, the center for fun and entertainment in Huron turns 100.
Construction progresses on the grandstand in 1918. The concrete columns and beams were poured and formed all at once.
