BOZEMAN, Mont. – The award-winning documentary podcast Reframing Rural launched its fourth season, “Succession Stories,” this fall to encourage farm and ranch families to create a succession plan and educate consumers on the complexities of family agriculture today. Created in collaboration with the nonprofit Winnett ACES, “Succession Stories” addresses aging farmer demographics, rising land values, climbing production costs, climate change, farm stress and a culture of reticence that complicate the successful transfer of farms and ranches to the next generation.
