A well-funded Wisconsin conservative group is blasting seven County Board candidates in sparsely populated Iron County, calling them “radical anti-mining” environmentalists.

Karl Krall, wearing a dark shirt and a hardhat to the right of Gov. Scott Walker, has been targeted by a conservative group as a "radical anti-mine" environmentalist. Krall said he remains a mine booster, just as he was on Jan. 15, 2013, when he and other union members were introduced by Walker during a State of the State address that pushed for mining law reform.
