GREAT LAKES – At the midpoint of 2024 shipping was moving smoothly at Wisconsin’s Great Lakes seaports. Figures released by the port authorities in Duluth-Superior and Green Bay indicated less cargo moving through the ports than at the same time the previous year. Milwaukee’s port authority had not released 2024 cargo figures by June but indicated good expectations for cruise-ship volume.
