The trend remains strong and rising open interest on the rally is bullish. CFTC data showed funds added more than 12,000 contracts long as of Tuesday last week and likely added even more in the 2nd half of last week. September stocks of beef, pork and chicken were all down year over year but pork had the smallest decline at only .3% below last year. That is the lowest for the month since 2010 but an albeit seasonal increase of 1.07% increase from the end of August.
