In the May contract, Chicago lost 2-1/2 cents to 608-1/4, Kansas City fell 7-3/4 cents to 659, and MIAX gained 1-1/2 cents to 676.” The Hightower Report said, “India’s Flour Millers are estimating their wheat crop production at 110.65 million tons due to poor weather, well below the official government forecast of 120.21. Also, the Rosario Grain Exchange says the core production region in Argentina is likely to see a 17% decline in wheat seeding, which begins in June. This comes after reports early this morning that South African wheat planted area is expected to drop to an 11-year low and over the last 10 days expectations for seeded area has fallen in Australia, France and Ukraine.”
