The Hightower Report said, “The market finally pulled back yesterday after several consecutive days of strong closes. U.S. export values have become by far the most expensive of the global exporters and technicals seem to have outrun the fundamentals lately. Fundamentals are a mixed bag with warm, dry and very windy conditions in the southern Plains.” Matthew Lucas at Total Farm Marketing said, “An improving weather outlook for key crop-growing regions next month added pressure to wheat futures. “Temperatures are now trending above normal, and some rainfall is expected across portions of the Great Plains and Midwest,” said Jack Scoville of Price Futures Group in a note.”
