Traders are wondering if additional meal export demand will move to the U.S. when there is already a significant export pace ongoing. Also, the anticipated tightening of the U.S. meal pipeline with record high processor downtime coming in May could exacerbate cash meal tightness.” Chad Pater at CHS Hedging said, “In today’s planting progress report, published after the close, soybeans are at 23% planted compared to 12% last week, a five year average of 12%.”
