We had a pretty dry year. It was comparable to 1988 and 2012. It was somewhat wet in April, May and June but once August got here, the only decent rain we had was during the state fair. From there on we did not get a lot of moisture. Yields were above average. It wasn’t a bin buster, but it was pretty good for as dry as it was. Some more rain would have certainly helped our fall pasture. Everyone is hauling water for cattle. Overall, we had a really good year.
