This week’s starting with a pretty nice, warmer, sunny day. We had an inch of rain overnight Saturday into Sunday. Area reports said parts of Wright, Hamilton and Kossuth counties had some hail. Corn rows are closing in and are over knee high now. Soybeans are putting out leaves and growth is taking off. I sprayed some burn-down that seems to be holding off more weeds. Some neighbors were spraying corn and soybeans. I’m hauling soybeans to the elevator today. Soil moisture is good. We don’t have standing water. Others in the area have a little ponding.
