We saw two different years. We had a decent window to get crops planted. The second cutting of hay had to wait because of rain, but as dry as it got in August, September and October I am sure glad we got it. By the time we got to harvest, we had a mix of excellent to not-so-excellent results. Our oats and hay turned out good. Looking ahead, inputs are going up rather than down. We will look at changes to keep us profitable. We can tighten the belt and get creative in some areas. Our cattle keep us constantly busy. We have some machinery work to do, too. We’ll stay busy until spring.
