A 1986 Hastings Tribune photo shows Harvey Bish at his business near Giltner, Neb., with a lot full of head changers that he designed and produced, along with fold-down bin extenders. The head changer allowed combines to be fitted with various brands of cornheads. The implement led Bish to create Harv’s Farm Supply, which sold not only the equipment adapters and bin extensions, but also tractors, combines and heads.
