Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of Burr Oak, located near Mindoro, Wisconsin, receives a blanket of snow during the past weekend. The church service was canceled March 15 because of heavy snowfall and blizzard-like conditions. The church was established by German immigrants in 1856 and is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. The current church structure was built in 1898.
