As a fellow Farm & Ranch Guide columnist, I am constantly impressed with Doreen Rosevolds’s “Farm Wife Diary” column across the page from me. She’s been writing her bi-weekly column for decades. I have only been on board for a few years now and I have friends and acquaintances ask me how I keep coming up with things to write about. My thoughts always immediately go to Doreen in how she comes up with simple little happenings that she turns into very interesting and entertaining stories. To me, her secret is her “off the wall” humor. She basically points a finger at herself as the “escape goat” when she’s involved in funny situations. It leaves me looking forward to getting the mail to read her next column.
