A Wednesday wedding was celebrated Dec. 1 by Cicely and Dan Wardyn, daughter and son-in-law of Messenger columnist Barb Bierman Batie. The bride is the assistant director of Agriculture for the State of Nebraska and the groom is a traveling nurse, currently under contract in Anchorage, Alaska.
