VIROQUA, Wis. – “Network” is the operative word in Valley Stewardship Network’s name. The Viroqua-based nonprofit networks with other conservation-minded groups to help farmers and communities implement practices for natural-resource conservation. The organization works with producer-led watershed-protection groups. It also recently partnered with the University of Wisconsin-Grassland 2.0 to serve as a learning hub for stakeholders interested in advancing grassland-based agriculture.
