The past two weeks have been busy with fertilizer applications for our fields that are going to corn. We have all but 175 acres of that completed and are now waiting for the soil to dry up and finish.
Fertilizer is metered through a Gen II Montag on the Tiffany farm to vary-rate apply diammonium phosphate (DAP) and potash in the fall.

Matt Tiffany farms with his dad, Bruce, in Redwood County, Minnesota, using a combined approach to address erosion, water infiltration and soil fertility. He grows a full season rye cover crop, along with corn and soybeans. The rye and soybean are sold for seed. Tiffany and his dad are alumni of the Minnesota Agriculture & Rural Leadership Program.
