The sensors Amy Murillo’s research team used to collect data on the movement and behavior of chickens. They are 10g and can collect 100 data points/sec for over a week at a time. The team had to download the data from each sensor, but Murillo said Bluetooth versions that relay real-time data are available and may be a more practical option for on-farm use.
