Our 2024 crops included corn, soybeans, wheat, oat, a hay/pasture combo and grain sorghum. Our first hay crop grew real tall and thick. It was hard to dry. Both wheat fields brought good results. It was some of the tallest wheat ever that I have seen and probably one of the best yields. We baled a lot. We had 700 small bales and 16 large rounds of wheat. The last few months were too dry. We didn’t get late rainfall like most years. We had a perfect harvest to work in. Late maturity led corn down to 13 or 14% moisture.
