CHENNAI, India – An autonomous tractor recently was unveiled in India by Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd., part of India’s Mahindra Group. The technology – developed to increase farming productivity – is expected to be launched commercially in 2018. Mahindra will gradually introduce driverless-tractor technology with additional capabilities to its range of tractors – from 20 horsepower to 100 horsepower – to international markets including the United States.
