Michael Prochnow pays close attention to equipment costs. He uses larger equipment to help accomplish field work such as harvesting in a timely fashion.
From a small parcel of land Michael Prochnow has built his cash-crop farm to 520 acres. He plants those acres to corn and soybeans in addition to 1,350 rented acres.

MENOMONIE, Wis. – Managing operating costs as well as his crops has been Michael Prochnow’s focus since he began his own farming operation in 2000. That was the same year he graduated from Menomonie High School.
