Fun mornings planned for two Minnesota Breakfasts on the Farm

Halquist Farms milks 450 Holstein cows. The cows are milked three times a day beginning at 4 a.m., again at noon, and at 8 p.m. Their parlor is a double 10 herringbone-style built in 1992.
Halquist Farms was homesteaded by Swan Halquist over 135 years ago. Mary (Halquist) Muehlenhardt, and her husband, Lee Muehlenhardt are the principal owners of Halquist Farms today. The dairy operation also includes their daughter, Shari, and her husband, Nate Gerdes, and their children, Kailyn and Hunter Gerdes. Mary and Lee’s son, Scott Muehlenhardt, along with his wife, Beth Muehlenhardt, have two children that are also involved with the farm: Miles and Oliver.
Kailyn, Hunter, Miles, and Oliver represent the sixth generation to work on the farm.
