Elena Jetensky and Dawson Schram were named Tekamah-Herman’s outstanding senior athletes for 2021-22. The awards were conferred during the honors ceremony at the high school auditorium May 4.

It was a long time coming as far as the weather was concerned for the Tekamah-Herman tracksters. The Tigers took advantage of much-needed warm weather at the Fort Calhoun meet April 26. The boys scored 69 points to take third while the girls netted 58 points for a fourth-place finish.

Tekamah-Herman endured the wind during a pair of track meets over the past week.
A windy, cold spring continued on the track for Tekamah-Herman’s athletes. A blustery day at the Malcolm Invitational April 6 still saw the Tigers showing improvement coach Taylor Klein said.
