The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation, the Wisconsin Towns Association, the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association and The Welch Group have united to form the Rural Policy Institute. The nonpartisan coalition states it's dedicated to advancing research and policy development for the prosperity of Wisconsin’s rural communities. The institute’s mission is to develop, promote and implement policies to capitalize upon rural-area strengths while addressing infrastructure, healthcare, education and economic development.
